Nigel Jones - a 'marathon' experience

Biddulph Running Club is allocated a guaranteed place each year in the London Marathon.

At the annual Mow-Cop ~ Cloud après run gathering (i.e. the meal and drink at the pub),  any BRC member who has been rejected from the London ballot and who wants to be considered for the guaranteed place throws their name in a hat.  It only took a couple of glasses of wine for Nigel to be persuaded by Christine that this might be a good idea.......to his complete surprise he won the draw and is now training with gusto for his first marathon.

LATEST: Nigel completed the marathon in 4 hr 55 min and raised over £1000 for the charity. Well done!
