About Us

Established in 1981 as a jogging club and eventually being affiliated to England Athletics in 1984, this small friendly club has something for everyone.

The members meet at 6:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Biddulph Valley Leisure Centre.

Runners of all abilities are made welcome as each training run is tailored - usually lasting from 40 minutes to an hour or so. No-one is left behind on runs as the club operates a 'mustering system'.

During the summer the country park paths and tracks provide ideal off-road training and, in winter, local roads provide for safe running routes.

Members enjoy regular updates on races and meetings in Staffordshire and surrounding counties giving the chance to meet and compete with fellow runners. There is also an active social side with organised walks, weekends away and an informal gathering once very month in a local hostelry.

See the Membership menu for more information on how to join - new members are always made very welcome.

The club is not open to under 16's but there is no upper age limit, so if you are 17 to 97 and want to know more don't hesitate to contact us.
